UN Family in Timor-Leste Celebrating 80 years of United Nations
On #UNDay2025, the UN Family in #TimorLeste gathered at UN House under Resident Coordinator Funmi Balogun’s leadership, to celebrate 80 years of the United Nations
Over 35 students from 22 schools joined us, learning how UN agencies are shaping a better future for all. I was Inspiring to engage with young leaders at #UNHouse for #UNDay2025! Together, we watched SG’s message & powerful short film "A Living Legacy", a moving tribute to 80 years of global solidarity. As Resident Coordinator Funmi Balogun said, “We the peoples... are the living promise of the UN."
#UNDay reminds us United Nations is more than an institution, it’s a living promise.
